Fundraiser supports fight against Dakota Access Oil Pipeline

Madelife, at 21st and Pearl in Boulder, combined with Colorado 350 to host “a Live Art and Music Event to benefit the Sacred Stone Camp in their fight against the Dakota Access Oil Pipeline and the ongoing resistance efforts against the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,” as described on the Madelife website.    Chad Franzen and Daniel Paiz attended the event, and produced this one-minute video…

  1. You did a good job telling a story. The opening poet is an interesting way to start the video. I think the ordering of your story works in audio – the explanation of the venue and then the explanation of the event – and the images match pretty well. I’d have liked to hear some low volume dialogue/nat. sound with the b-roll of chatting or laughing people. And some images from standing rock would have been helpful. Finally, more tight detail shots would have added a bit of drama.
